Returning to the present day, Cable was a member of the Six Pack, helped transform the New Mutants into the para-military X-Force, served with Jean Grey on the X-Men while Cyclops was merged with Apocalypse, created and ruled over the island nation of Providence and has most recently spent years time travelling along a desolate future timeline with the baby Hope, the first mutant born after the Scarlet Witch decimated the mutant population at the end of the House of M.
